Red Arrows are Runner-Ups in Close Kathy Talus Invitational

The Lady Arrows used strong field event and distance crew to grab runner-up honors at the Kathy Talus Invitational. The Arrows bested Grandville HS by 1.5 points in a meet won by fellow OK White Member Byron Center. The Arrows grabbed four first place finishes and had some near record performances. Annika Sandman won the 1600m in 5:06.26 which was a second off the meet record. Sandman also joined the team of Audrey Latchaw, Mia Kinney, and sister Katrina in the DMR which took first but again came up short of the meet record. In the field events Isabel German won the individual PV and teamed with Brooklyn Wobma to win the PV relay in 17-00. German cam back later in the meet to take silver medalist honors in the 100m in 13.10.
