Red Arrows close out season at Regional Meet
The Lowell Boy's track team closed out the season by gaining a lot of experience and scoring 10 points at the MHSAA state regional meet held at East Lansing HS. The young arrows were able to use the meet as a gauge to see where they needed to grow before next year. The Arrows only graduate a couple of athletes and when you look at the regional roster you will find a majority of the students as first year regional performers. The experience will pay dividends as we continue the process. Lowell was able to capture three all region performances led by the 3200m relay team taking 5th place in 8:25.14. Members of the team were Caleb Swart, Collier Kaufman, Benji Kinnucan, and Nigel Mika. Swart also secured a 6th place finish in the 1600m hitting a PR time of 4:34.04. Landon Grant closed out the scoring for the Arrows capturing 6th place in the LJ going 19-07.00.

Red Arrows Finish 4th at OK White Conference Meet
Lowell went into the OK White Conference meet with a 4th place regular season ranking and when the dust settled on Friday night they were in 4th place at the conference meet. The 4th place finish allowed them tied with an overall OK White ranking of 4th tied with Northview. The Red Arrows were able to get two members on the ALL CONFERENCE team as Caleb Swart and Landon Grant made the team on points. In the meet Lowell was able to take medals away in thirteen of the seventeen events which is a great way to finish the conference meet considering that all but one of the medalists will be coming back next year. The Arrows are young and gained a lot of experience going against many of the senior laden teams. Besides the medals the number of PR's (personal records) hit on Friday night took both hands to count. Some of the highlights of the evening were Keegan Cater's 116-05 toss in the discus which was a 10' improvement, Landon Grant's 5-09 HJ mark, Caleb Swart 1600m / 3200m double, Josh Rau's 110HH / 300H double, the 800m where the top 5 were within 1 sec, and lastly the 1600m where all entries obtained a PR. The JV OK White Conference meet is Tuesday at Red Arrow Stadium and the MHSAA regional meet is Friday at East Lansing HS.

LOWELL SPLITS AGAINST FHN & FHC
The Red Arrow track team battled three opponents as they overcame rain, wind, and cold temps to split a double dual against FHC and FHN. Both meets were extremely close as they were decided by less than five points or one second place in any event. Tuesday required a total teams effort whether on the track or as a member of the team supporting the remaining events as it became harder to keep pushing forward. The Arrows took advantage of a strong distance crew as well as the long sprints and hurdles to get the job done. Surprising there were many personal records set in the conditions which indicate that things are coming together as the season winds down. The Arrows are now IN 3RD in the OK White regular season standings going into the final double dual next Tuesday at Red Arrow Stadium. Before that the team will travel to Hopkins for their invite.

LOWELL DEFEATS OTTAWA AND NORTHVIEW
The Lowell track team kicked off the conference season a week late due to poor weather but took to the track without missing a beat as they defeated both Northview and Ottawa Hills in a double dual. The Arrows were able to gather points from all disciplines but took charge of the meet early by owning the field events and taking a commanding point lead before the running events started. Once on the track the Arrows saw a strong distance crew wear down the opponents and left the longer sprints and hurdles to clean up the day.
