Jillian Weston was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Friday, driving in four on two hits to lead Lowell Red Arrows JV past Hopkins 15-9 on Friday. Weston drove in runs on a single in the first, a sacrifice fly in the second, and a single in the fourth.

An early lead helped propel Lowell Red Arrows JV to victory. Lowell Red Arrows JV scored on a single by Weston in the first inning, a single by Olivia Outman in the first inning, a fielder's choice by Taylor White in the first inning, a double by Paige Romig in the second inning, a sacrifice fly by Weston in the second inning, and a single by Outman in the second inning.

In the bottom of the first inning, Lowell Red Arrows JV tied things up at three when VanWaggerinduced White to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Lowell Red Arrows JV pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Romig doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, Weston's sac fly scored one run for Lowell Red Arrows JV, and Outman singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Lowell Red Arrows JV put up six runs in the fourth inning. The offensive firepower by Lowell Red Arrows JV was led by WestonOutmanWhite, and Lani Fetterhoff, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Hopkins scored four runs in the sixth inning. Augustine and Russell powered the big inning with RBIs.

Macy Huver pitched Lowell Red Arrows JV to victory. She went seven innings, allowing nine runs on 12 hits and striking out four.

VanWagger took the loss for Hopkins. She went six innings, allowing 15 runs on 14 hits and striking out three.
