Lowell Claims Lead In Seventh Inning To Defeat Northview

The Red Arrows stole the lead late in the game in a 5-2 victory over Northview on Monday. The game was tied at two with Lowell batting in the top of the seventh when the Arrows started a seventh inning rally and never looked back. The big hit to start the inning off came from Kenzie Jordan when she hit a deep fly ball over the left fielder. Kylee Stephens then singled on a bunt and then Zimmerman walked to load the bases. Corah Miller then singled to score one run, then Hanna Bogoski did the same scoring two. Perry then grounded out picking up the last RBI of the inning. The 4 run rally in the top of the seventh would be enough to secure the win for the Lady Red Arrows.
Emily Depew got the win for Lowell Red Arrows Varsity. She lasted seven innings, allowing just two hits and two runs while striking out ten!
Miller, Bogoski, Perry, K. Jordan, Stephens, and Conrad all had one hit. Lowell’s defense did not commit a single error in the field.
