Lowell fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 13-3 loss to Three Rivers in Game 1 in the Mandy Tichelaar Invitational Saturday. The Red Arrows struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Three Rivers, giving up 13 runs. Three Rivers got things started in the first inning on a triple on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs. Three Rivers scored six runs in the fifth inning. Macy Huver took the loss for Lowell. She surrendered six runs on eight hits over three innings. The Red Arrows scattered five hits in the game. Madison Jordan and Emily Depew each managed two hits for Lowell.
