The Red Arrows grabbed an early lead on its way to an 8-4 victory over Forest Hills Central in the second of the two game conference match-up on Monday. Lowell scored on a triple by Emily Depew in the first inning, a single by Allyson Lange in the first inning, and a single by Madison Jordan in the second inning. Krin Beach then singled in the second to tag on another run. The Red Arrows went on to score three runs in the sixth inning, two RBIs credited on a double by Emily Depew.
Depew pitched Lowell Red Arrows Varsity to victory. She went seven innings, allowing four runs on eight hits and striking out 11. Depew recorded an outstanding 26 strike outs in the double-header.
The Lady Red Arrows racked up 14 hits in the game. Depew, M. Jordan, Lange, Conrad, and Bogoski all managed multiple hits for Lowell. Depew led Lowell Red Arrows Varsity with three hits in four at bats. RBI leaders in the game; Depew (3), M. Jordan (2), Beach (1) & Lange (1).
