Lowell racked up seven hits for three runs prior to chasing Gull Lake’s, Markucki, from the mound by the fifth inning and forcing them to bring in Esman (2020 University of Michigan commit) to try to put a stop to the Red Arrow offense. Gull Lake’s efforts came up short as Freshman, Hanna Bogoski notched another quick RBI off of Esman in the fifth giving Lowell one more insurance run in their 4-1 win over Gull Lake. The Red Arrows had a total of eight hits in the game. Madison Jordan and Hanna Bogoski each had multiple hits to lead Lowell’s offensive charge.
Emily Depew was a standout on the mound, shutting down the MHSSCA D1 fifth ranked team, allowing just five hits and one run while striking out seven.
