Lowell Red Arrows Varsity cruised to a victory over Cedar Springs 7-1 on chilly Wednesday afternoon. Mackenzie Jordan led the Red Arrow’s charge with a single in the second inning recording the first RBI in the game. Lowell went on to notch three runs in the third inning. Jenna Perry and Madison Johnston each had RBIs in the big inning with Perry bringing in two. Krin Beach had the remaining RBI in the game on a double in the bottom of the fifth.
Emily Depew was the winning pitcher for Lowell Red Arrows Varsity. She went seven innings, allowing one run on five hits while striking out eight, bringing her to 3-0 on the season in the circle.
Lowell racked up 12 hits in the game. Madison Jordan, Corah Miller, and Mackenzie Jordan each collected multiple hits for Lowell Red Arrows Varsity. Madison Jordan led the Red Arrows with three hits in four at bats.
The Arrows did not commit a single error in the field. Hanna Bogoski had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
