Lowell Varsity Red Arrows stole the lead late in the game in a 9-4 victory over Forest Hills Northern Huskies Varsity on Monday.
Kyle Teachworth led the Red Arrows to victory on the mound. The pitcher went five innings, allowing four runs on five hits, striking out four and walking one. Kyler Spike threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Spike recorded the last six outs to earn the save.
Lowell Varsity saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game. Teachworth, North, Ethan Hall, and Zach Hayes all collected multiple hits. Hayes, Hall, North, and Teachworth each collected two hits to lead Red Arrows.
