FOREST HILLS CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: 7
Last night the Arrows had a rough game vs. Forest Hills Central (ranked 3rd in the State). The Arrows conceded five goals in the first half going against strong winds. Under one minute left in the half, sophomore goalkeeper, Aubree Lee, was injured and came out for the rest of the game. Before leaving the field Lee tallied 12 saves and handed her gloves off to freshman midfielder, Alyse Miles. With her first game in goal, Alyse made 7 saves and was able to hold FHC to two goals in the second half. The Arrows dominated play in the second half and were able to get on the scoreboard when freshman, Gracyn Hamilton, was able to find the back of the net. The game ended in a 7-1 loss, but it was a hard fought battle by all. We play home on Wednesday against Byron Center. Come and cheer us on!
