Arrows capture PR’s and All State Honors
The best weather in the past decade is the way that most coaches and officials described the D1 State Meet held at Michigan International Speedway. The great conditions helped lead to some great times throughout the day and the pair of Lowell runners were no exception as they threw down a pair of great races to start the day. Annika Sandman took advantage of last year’s state meet experience and clocked a 18:21 which was good enough for 18th place and ALL-STATE recognition. Katrina Sandman was not to be out done as she ran a 15 second PR time of 19:17 which placed 73rd out of the 267 entries.
The Sandman sisters also get it done in the classroom and their finishes along with their GPA earned them Academic all-state honors.
