The Arrows did not get any rest coming off of their Hesperia finish as they travelled north to be part of the Benzie Pete Moss Invitational. The meet served as a great testing ground as it is historically one of the tougher invites on the calendar and will also be the site of the MHSAA regional meet in late October.
The Red Arrows were led again by Audrey Conrad taking 33rd place earning medalist honors and also breaking the twenty minute barrier coming in at 19:53. Conrad’s time is just six seconds off her 2018 PR as is currently ranked 12th in the region. Lowell’s varsity team was rounded out by Lauren Swain (22:11), Canaan McKinney (22:41), Theresa Judd (23:29), Alexis Haines (23:59) and Anna Gaskins (25:34).
The Arrows get a week off as they open the OK White season at Lowell HS on September 4th.
