Boys Varsity Cross Country Qualifies for MHSAA State Finals

18 years ago, the Lowell Boys Cross Country team qualified for the Division 2 State Finals at Michigan International Speedway. This year the boys team were able to replicate that by finishing 3rd with 108 points and thus qualifying for the Division 1 State Finals next Saturday. Winning the division was Grand Haven with 63 points followed by Rockford with 75 points.
Medaling in the race was Cole Weston, 6th, with a time of 16.13. Sawyer and Jackson Fowler took 19th and 20th with times of 16.43, a PR for Jackson. Ben Bromley was Lowell's 4th man with a 31st place and a time of 16.56. Levi Mills completed Lowell's score with a PR of 16.59, 32nd place. Keegan Cater and Alex Weber rounded out the varsity team with 40th and 60th place finishes and times of 17.24 and 18.06 respectively. The Red Arrows will race November 6th at 3:30pm at MIS.
