Lowell Boys Cross Country placed 3rd (106 pts) in the competitive Scarlet Division on Saturday at the Allendale Invite. Winning the division was Zeeland West (75 pts) followed by Grandville (92 pts). Medaling for the Red Arrows were Caleb Swart, 7th (16.16), Ben Kinnucan, 13th (16.37), and Cole Weston, 14th (16.38). Wrapping up the score for the Red Arrows were Sawyer Fowler, 32nd (17.09) and Keegan Cater, 40th (17.22). Finishing on the varsity team were Nigel Mika, 41st (17.22) and Lucas Cossar, 52nd (17.40).
In the JV boys race, Freshman Ben Bromley captured 1st placed with a time of 17.35. Earning medals as well were Jackson Fowler, 6th (17.48) and Zach Swart, 26th (18.19). The boys JV team would go on to place 5th with 106 points. The next competition for Lowell will be Wednesday in the OK White Jamboree hosted by Greenville.
