Boys Varsity Cross Country Wins Sparta Invitational

Lowell Boys Cross Country won the Blue Division of the Sparta Invite, Saturday, at the Fruit Ridge Hayrides Center in Kent City. Medaling for the Red Arrows were Caleb Swart, 1st (17.04), Ben Kinnucan, 2nd (17.04), Cole Weston, 4th (17.13), Lucas Cossar, 5th (17.14), Sawyer Fowler, 9th (17.52), NIgel Mika, 12th (17.58), and John Lothian, 19th (18.17). Lowell won with 21 points, followed by West Ottawa (71) and Rockford (98).
The JV boys were equally impressive, winning the Blue Reserve race with 39 points followed by Rockford (52) and Jenison (66). Medaling for the JV Red Arrows were Keegan Cater, 2nd (17.51), Jackson Fowler, 3rd (18.08), Ben Bromley 7th (18.56), Levi Mills, 8th (18.57), and Blake Bennett 19th (19.31). Congrats to both teams. The next competition for the Red Arrows will be Wednesday in Cedar Springs for the Second OK White Jamboree and at home on Saturday for the Bob Perry Memorial Invite.
