Runner-Up Finish for the Lady Arrows

The Arrows ran short handed and through some injuries to snag runner-uo honors at the Ottawa Hills Fall Invitational. The meet was won by OK White member FHN w/ 28 points while the Arrows 74 points was 19 better than Holland Black River. The number of personal records highlighted the day even more as the runners took advantage of a fast course and cool temps with six of the nine runners setting new best times.

Lowell was led by Annika Sandman’s runner-up finish in a time of 19:22 which is not only a PR but is the #3 time on the Lowell Record board. Following her sister in was Keira Sandman (11^th) in 21:30 PR, Kaylee Byrne (18^th) in 22:48 PR, Lauren Swain (21^st) in 22:58, Theresa Judd (24^th) in 23:23 and Canaan McKinney (35^th) in 24:23. The top 25 finishers received medals so it was a pretty good haul for the varsity.

The JV harriers were not to be out done as the three runners all set personal records and got medals. Grace Richmond finished 9^th in 24:48PR, Jess Spaulding 10^th in 25:02PR, and foreign exchange student Arianda Sernandez taking 18^th in 31:39.
