Lowell High School

Lowell closed the RCA regular season with a pair of wins against host Greenville and Allendale. The Lady Arrows will enter next week’s Conference Meet in second place with the goal of displacing undefeated Coopersville. Lowell got wins in nine of the seventeen events and bundled them with four additional seconds which pretty much pushed the Arrows past the magic number of sixty-nine which is the minimum number of points needed for the win. On the day the girls set 26 personal bests with one Varsity letter AQ mark being hit. Olivia Lothian did move up to #3 on the record board with her vault of 11’1”. Freshman Emma Putnam was a triple winner taking top spots in the 1600, 100H, and 300H. Fellow Freshman Ellery Bieneman doubled up in the throws with wins in the shot put and discus. Lowell will travel east on Friday for the Williamston Invitational.
