Lowell High School

Last night the LHS Ski Team ended their regular season by taking 9th in slalom and 10th in giant slalom at the Conference Championship Race at Cannonsburg. There are 12 teams in our conference. Scoring for the team, out of a competitive group of 68 racers, were Cooper Byrne in 3rd place for GS, Ana Plivelich in 54th, Eleanor Pastor in 56th, and Clay Weston in 57th. Carter Cichoracki also raced and came in at 63rd. For Slalom, Cooper took 4th, Eleanor in 47th, Ana in 48th and Clay in 49th. Carter also raced slalom with a 61st finish. We have a young team this year, with Cooper being our only graduating senior, so we are looking forward to watching these racers grow over the next several years! The final race of the season will be the D2 State Finals for Cooper on Monday, at Schuss Mountain.
